Get Rid of Wrinkles: Skin Care Made Simple

get-rid-of-wrinklesThe only good place a wrinkle belongs is in the title for a famous Madeleine L’Engle book cover or the back of an elephant. You do not want them on your skin. There have been decades of research done on wrinkle removal and facial enhancements, all in an attempt to remove or downplay wrinkles.

Though time marches on, and it does, we never want people to be reminded of the passing of time by looking at our face.  There are 5 possible solutions to wrinkled or aging skin. One or more of these might be a solution for you. Depending upon your needs, and how much you want to invest, there are a variety of methods to choose from. Some of the best ones to consider are discussed below. Research your own to study up on more methods of removing or decreasing wrinkles.

1) Laser resurfacing – Laser resurfacing involves the reduction of lines and facial wrinkles by directing short beams of light to irregular skins areas, and removing skin layer by layer. This process involves revealing the healthier skin underneath, for a more radiant, youthful appearance. Another term for this process is “lasbrasion,” also known as laser vaporization or laser peel.

This process of laser resurfacing has also been successful in the removal of acne or other facial scars. Erbium laser resurfacing and CO2 resurfacing are 2 kinds of laser resurfacing techniques. Depending on your skin type and pigment, your doctor or dermatologist can recommend which one might be best for you. Keep in mind that this method does carry certain risks and can sometimes produce permanent scarring. While most procedures go as planned, some do not turn out as well as the person had hoped and can leave negative results. Be sure to discuss this thoroughly with a doctor to determine whether or not this method is best for you. (Case Study: Advanced Laser and Skin Care Center Michael J. 2) Anti-aging skin care – This method is the basic skin care regimen idea of taking care of your skin and treating it with as much moisture and exfoliation as needed to reveal the good skin underneath. It is usually composed of a 2-step method, involving cleansing and exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing. Some companies offer products that do this in only 2 steps. In general, find a product that matches your skin type.

Since you are trying to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, the “dry skin” type is usually an appropriate choice. Choose a company and a skin regimen that fits your needs. You might have to experiment with several and invest a bit of money to find the one that is right for you. The important thing is to choose an anti-aging regimen which you can do everyday, and which won’t have a negative effect. If you break out, or it causes your skin to be overly dry or sensitive, discontinue the use of the product and try something else.

3) Facial injections – There are many solutions involving injections given at the site of the tiny wrinkles which may temporarily reduce the appearance of the lines. This method works for many, but it is controversial due to the way it is done and the possible side effects. One of the possible effects is a weakening or paralyzing of certain muscles. Some have also report some nerve blockage as a result. The side effects can last up to 3 or 4 months in some people. Other possible effects are pain at the site of injection, headache, upset stomach, and flu-like symptoms. These types of treatments should be considered carefully, in order to minimize possible negative side effects. Check with a dermatologist to see if this type is appropriate for you.

4) Nutritional aides – Some people opt to use nutrition as a method to combat wrinkles. While this is certainly a healthy option, it is one that takes the longest to see results. Some vitamins believed to help aide in age reversal include: Vitamin A and B, Vitamin E, and Collagen. These are also vitamins which can be found in a number of skin creams and products, but it is believed by most experts that internal nutrition, like regular vitamins and minerals have a longer-lasting effect than putting it on the skin.

In addition, regular aerobic exercise is believed in increase HGH levels, decreasing the signs of aging in skin.

5) Daily Hydration – Hydration works because it returns water and natural moisture to skin that is dehydrated due to aging and sun, as well as other factors. While heredity does play an important role in the onset and development of wrinkles, replenishing needed hydration is a key element in helping improve the appearance of aging skin.

There are a number of products on the market which replace the skin’s natural moisture, due to aging.

While all of these solutions offer some positive benefits, it is hard to know the best solution for your particular skin care situation without some other expert information. Laser resurfacing is dangerous at times, and can cause scarring in some cases. Injections have scary side effects too and the effects of those are only temporary at best. (Study: Advanced Laser and Skin Care Center Michael J. Tomcik, MD and William Ting, MD at Advanced Laser and Skin Care Center in San Ramon, California.)

The best anti-aging method is probably some combination of the above, with the use of as many natural methods as possible. The less you have to inject chemicals into the skin, take substances into your body, or have laser surgery performed, the better and more long-lasting and natural the result will be.

One of the best things you can do is to learn more. Know your own skin, the problems you want to address, and talk to your dermatologist. But first, to get the information you need to share with your doctor and others, start with attending a free webinar on the benefits of a “personal spa like treatment” which uses none of the unnatural methods mentioned above, and is safe and effective in increasing the likelihood of reduction of wrinkles and may aid in anti-aging.

So what would the ideal solution look like? Would it be like a spa, that rejuvenates the skin while adding needed nutrients back into your skin? Would it hydrate your skin back to the time when it was moist and soft? Would it turn back the clock and reveal softer, more radiant skin that would make you the talk of the town? I suspect it would. A spa-like solution would be the ideal answer, if we could package it like this.

Perhaps there IS something on the market. If there was, and you didn’t know about it, would you want to learn? Some of the information in this seminar may change your life, and change the way you look at anti-aging solutions. What if you could have all the benefits of a spa right in your own home, without ever leaving your driveway? Does that sound like a solution for you? If so, sign up and enjoy.
